Yes, we've been growing wine grapes for over twenty-five years now, but at first we sold all our fruit to other wineries. It wasn't until 2010 that our winery was built. Our tasting room in downtown Staunton was born the following spring, on April fools day 2011. We remember that day well, a day filled with high nerves, uncertainty, and ultimate celebration.
This April we celebration again in the tasting room with our 15-year Anniversary, Saturday, April 4, from 10:00am-7:00PM. We'll have live music with The Queen City Porch Swingers from 2-5pm, Two Wheels Tintype photography (have a modern image taken of you, your dog, whatever, using this very cool old-timey process) time TBD. Specials on wine all day, and commemorative t-shirts and coffee mugs (you'll have to fill those mugs at home) while supplies last.
